Sebastian's Log: Week 5

During the fifth week, we spend polishing the minigames to reach to finish them without the assets, I managed to complete mine just with a framerate drop that I’ll fix during the next week. I started working on the transition between levels, making sure the user can tell when they passed the level and when they failed. One of the problems that I had was that when you select a sphere in the Transcription Minigame, there was a case when there were two “T”s that need to be transcript into “A”s, but in because of objects in the scene cannot have the same name if you pick the wrong a it will give the player points of. At the end of the week I managed to finally finished my minigame, I only need to polish it a little bit more to make the user experience fun. Something I will focus more next week is to test user experience in all minigames to find things we can change to improve them. I really enjoyed the week and I think I’m making a lot of progress, I thank my team for working together in order to improve the minigames.
