We were able to have a decent expo at the card shop on Wednesday. Because we had a smaller display some of the testers didn’t see us, so I decided to walk up to several people and ask them to try out our game. We were able to get lots of good feedback, and we were able to find lots of bugs to fix.
I was also able to work on the tutorial some more, one of the hardest parts of the tutorial is getting the timing right for what displays in what order and how long they display for, I also have several objects moving around to make some of the timing even more complex, however I have been able to make it work so far.
We also updated to Unity 5.6.0f3 which helps with some of the cpu overload on some of these phones, now they have much less battery consumption. However we ran into a bunch of problems, for some reason lights only work on the left eye in our projects, all the spot lights and point lights do not work in the right eye, We are not sure if it’s a Unity thing or a Google thing but we are unable to fix the issue, the work around we were able to do was to turn all our lights into directional lights, and put them all on layers. It doesn’t make our game look as good but we have to work with what we have right now.
